# How does Best Companies Group (BCG) handle and protect our information and data?
The data you provide is only used by Best Companies Group (BCG) to process your registration, administer your surveys, and deliver your data. BCG is owned by BridgeTower Media and other parts of our corporate entity may access primary organization registration information, but we will never share information on your organization's employees.
**BCG protects your information that we store on the cloud by:**
- Encrypting all client data at rest and while in transit over public networks
- Regularly apply security patches to computing devices and monitoring for exploitable vulnerabilities
- Implementing security monitoring technologies and internal and external audits to confirm ongoing compliance with its security policies
- Prohibiting the transfer of client data onto personal removable media
- Engaging qualified third-party auditors to review its information security program and issue opinions or certifications validating the quality of the information security and privacy program
- Logically deleting client data at termination of SaaS agreements
**Protection against hacking:**
BCG has cybersecurity insurance from Alliant, which includes 100% endpoint detection and response (EDR) product across your enterprise, asset scanning, protective DNS service, and detailed incidence response plans.
