There are certain deadlines that are very important in the survey process. Please review the following if you may be out of office.
Out of Office - Deadline Expectations
If you are listed as the Primary Contact on your organization's registration form, then you are the single point of contact who steers your participation from start to finish—receiving every email, call, survey link, report, or mailing from us and routing each item to the right people inside your organization. If you know you will be out of the office or without email access or availability to manage the process during any extended portion of the Best Places To Work program process, we recommend you provide us with an alternate Primary Contact for the entire process. (If you will only be out 1-2 days at most, it should be fine for you to remain the Primary Contact.) It is important to let us know as soon as possible if the contact information needs updated. Most communications are only sent to the Primary Contact. Email support@bestcompaniesgroup.com to submit a request to change your contact. Be sure that you receive a confirmation back confirming the change has been made.
Things to keep in mind:
Employee Upload Portal - Must be completed in the 4 day window. Typically the invitation is sent via email from surveys@bestcompaniesgroup.com on a Tuesday and is due by the end of the day on Friday. You should begin creating your Excel spreadsheet of email addresses before the invitation comes out. Click here to learn more. The actual upload process should only take about 10 minutes at most.
Employer Benefits and Policies Questionnaire (EQ) - Must be completed in the 2 week window. Typically sent via email from surveys@bestcompaniesgroup.com on a Thursday and due 2 weeks and 1 business day later.
You should start compiling answers to the EQ ahead of time. Use the Standard Sample EQ to begin to gather your data. (Industry programs should use their specific EQ sample from the industry program website.) To find your specific program's website, visit https://bestcompaniesgroup.com/programs/. The EQ information can generally be found under the Process tab. *Not all programs have this EQ portion. If there is no Employer Questionnaire listed under the Process tab, then that program does not have this portion.
The test emails (to ensure that employee surveys will go through) are typically sent via email from surveys@bestcompaniesgroup.com on the Thursday prior to the Tuesday employee survey launch date. If both the listed Primary and IT Contacts will be out of the office, contact support@bestcompaniesgroup.com at least 2 business days before the send date.
Response Rate Dashboard - An email invitation from surveys@bestcompaniesgroup.com is typically sent on the Tuesday of the Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey launch date. By viewing the dashboard you can see the number of submitted employee surveys in real time. Click here to learn more. You will not receive email updates from Best Companies Group regarding your exact number of survey submissions. It is your responsibility to access your dashboard and keep tabs on your submissions.
Summarized survey results - The EnGauge Dashboard is typically sent via email from surveys@bestcompaniesgroup.com within 4 weeks of the employee survey end date. These results either come as part of your registration fee, or are available for purchase. Click here to learn more.
